Southeast Expedition Medical Speleocandle

Prepare for unexpected underground stops with the 12-hour Speleocandle from Southeast Expedition Medical. This double-wick pure beeswax candle gives you more burn time for less ounces compared to commercially available survival candles. Choosing a wider design instead of the common taller design gives this candle more stability on uneven ground. Use one wick for maximum burn time or two wicks for maximum warmth.

Each Speleocandle includes a striker on the inside lid and 3 stormproof matches. These matches are essentially mini flares, lighting in wind and water and burning for up to 15 seconds. Each candle is handmade by cavers for cavers, right here in Georgia.

Hot tip: Pack your candle with an extra lighter and an XL trash bag to make a Palmer Furnace anywhere you are. This cheap trick helps to prevent hypothermia, a common side effect of traumatic injury.

Return Policy

We offer free return shipping on returnable items within 90 days of being delivered.
No returns can be accepted for life safety gear (i.e. hardware, helmets, harnesses, rope, etc) for the sake of quality control of critical components of our customers' safety.
To initiate a qualifying return, email info@elevatedclimbing.com with your order number and item you are looking to return.
Refunds are offered for the item(s) being returned, and do not include the initial shipping cost of the order, as the service of shipping has already been rendered.
